White Sands Resort Cottages is located in Sorrento, on Shuswap Lake in British Columbia, Canada. Shuswap Lake is located at the northern end of the famous Okanagan Valley in the interior of BC. We are about a 7 hour drive from Calgary and a 5 hour drive from Vancouver. We are conveniently located mid way between the two cities as well as Vancouver and the Rocky Mountains. To find us, Sorrento is located between the towns of Chase to the West and Salmon Arm to the East on the Trans Canada Highway Number 1. As you enter Sorrento, look for the yellow flashing light on the highway. At the light, turn towards the lake (left turn from the West and a right turn from the East) onto Caen Road. Follow Caen Road down the hill. Turn right onto Dieppe Road and follow to the end where you will see a sign for White Sands Resort Cottages. Our driveway passes through the Maples Resort and our office is located directly in front of you about 130 metres (or 400 feet) away. Our check-in time is 3:00pm or later. During the summer, our check-out time is 10:00am.
