All cottages have a view of the lake and are single family, light housekeeping, two bedroom duplexes (two cottages per building). All of our units are non-smoking; smoking is permitted outside only. Each cottage is approximately four hundred square feet. The master bedroom has a queen bed (new in 2001); the second bedroom contains a custom bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a 3/4 size bed on top (a 3/4 size bed is six inches narrower than a double bed), accommodating up to six people maximum. All cottages have kitchenettes (some kitchens, stove with oven); fridge; dishes, pots, pans and cutlery for six people; and bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. All linen is supplied (except for towels in July and August when we supply a bath mat, dish cloth and dish towels).
Two waterfront cottages, built in 1995, (referred to as newer waterfront in the Rates section) have a queen bed in the master bedroom, the same second bedroom arrangement as above, a full bath, a natural gas fireplace and cable TV.
Each cottage has a dresser, armchair and closet in each bedroom, an AM/FM
clock radio with alarm function, a night table or shelf in each
master bedroom, a five foot long Davenport couch (the back folds down) (two
units have hide-a-beds; one is a single in one of our newer waterfront cottages
and one is a double in one of our waterfront cottages), coffee table,
kitchen table with chairs, fridge, 10" fan, a heater and either a three burner countertop stove or a four
burner stove with oven. A covered deck area at the entry way and a picnic table is
provided for each cottage. A family size propane BBQ is provided for each duplex.
Toilet paper and bar soap is supplied for the bathroom. For summer weekly reservations, a starter pack of coffee, sugar and coffee whitener is provided. Salt, pepper, sugar and coffee whitener are provided in single serve packs to meet Ministry of Tourism standards. Coffee is single use, 4 cup pre-packaged in its own filter for use in the electric coffeemaker.
